In partnership with the Atlantic provinces, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada announced the launch of the Atlantic Immigration Program on December 17. 2021. This new permanent program will officially open on January 1, 2022.  Applications will be accepted from March 6, 2022. Employers of four provinces – Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island can hire foreign nationals for jobs in these regions.
